• Petition: Pray that every disciple and church in Italy will continually abide in growing intimacy with God, and serve Him from a place of increasing dependency on and leading of the Holy Spirit.
• Scripture: Isaiah 29:13, “The Lord says: “The people of Italy come near to me with their mouth and honor me with their lips, but their hearts are far from me. Their worship of me is based on merely human rules they have been taught.” Pray that the people of Italy who follow Christ would be fully committed to die to themselves, pick up their cross daily and follow Jesus. Pray that the hearts of the people in Italy would be near to God and that their worship of Him would be genuine and authentic, not just cultural tradition.
