• PRAISE: We praise you God because we know that in all things you work for the good of those in Italy who love you, who have been called according to your purpose! (Romans 8:28) Even if the earth would give way and the mountains would fall into the sea, you are their refuge and strength. (Psalm 46:1-2)
• PETITION: Jesus constantly showed the religious people that they could not earn their salvation through their good works. Pray against the lie that “being good enough” will get the people of Italy to heaven. Pray for a true fear of God in Italy. Pray that they would realize the gravity of their sins and how they are separated from God and destined for judgment, unless they receive God’s gift of forgiveness in Jesus.
• PRAY SCRIPTURE: John 16:7-8 – “Nevertheless, I tell you the truth: it is to your advantage that I go away, for if I do not go away, the Helper will not come to you. But if I go, I will send him to you. And when he comes, he will convict the world concerning sin and righteousness and judgment.”
